About Adrianna
ADRIANNA COSTA is an international TV personality, who’s known for her coverage on everything from breaking entertainment news at CNN Headline News and a live Reality Competition Series on Fox, to the ever-glamorous Red-Carpets for the biggest Premieres and Award Shows in Hollywood!
Most recently, Adrianna has jumped on board as one of the newest entertainment correspondents at Extra where she keeps her finger on the pulse of all breaking news in Hollywood. She covers movie junkets, red-carpet premieres, and one-on-one interviews with some of the industry’s most buzzed-about Stars including Robert Downey Jr., Kate Hudson and the cast of Glee.
Over the summer, Adrianna co-hosted a relationship advice show alongside Donny Deutsch called Love Chat. Just last year, she filmed another Pilot for Fox Network about celebrity genealogy called, Who Are You? produced by Fremantle Media and Magic Pictures. Adrianna acted as a guide to different stars as they traced their history to find out who they are and where they come from. But Adrianna first became a part of the Fox Network family in 2007 when she
hosted a primetime reality show, On the Lot, a competition series created by Steven Spielberg,Mark Burnett and DreamWorks Television. The show’s premise was to find the best director (as determined by viewers,) who ultimately won a $1-million development deal at DreamWorks after competing week-to-week with other filmmakers.
Adrianna has been a correspondent on the TV Guide Network since 2008 and has hosted the Live Red Carpet Pre-shows for the past three seasons. She covers the Emmys, SAG Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys and Oscars. Adrianna reports live from the Red-Carpet, interviewing some of Hollywood’s brightest stars and experts. Her latest duties for TV Guide included hosting a half-hour Special for the network called Backstage at the Emmys, 2010. There,
Adrianna had the pleasure of interviewing the night’s big Winners like Al Pacino, Tom Hanks and Claire Daines.
In addition to covering the award-show circuit for TV Guide, Adrianna also hosts the network’s highest-rated Movie Specials for Blockbusters like Twilight, and Harry Potter. Over the years, Adrianna has stepped in from time to time to co-host Hollywood 411 alongside Chris Harrison.
Adrianna is not just known in the US, but she has recently become a familiar face in China after landing the prestigious gig as the first-ever American entertainment correspondent to broadcast live into the country for the Michael Jackson This Is It World Premiere.
Not long after, Adrianna caught the eye of Perezhilton during a shoot where they both appeared as fashion experts and judges on the VH1 show, “You’re Cut Off.” She now contributes to Perezhilton and Cocoperez regularly with video content that she produces and appears in. One of the most recent segments features former Spice Girl, Mel B and her amazing wardrobe.
Adrianna has parlayed her love of fashion into other ventures including several appearances on the Style Network’s Emmy-Nominated show, “How Do I Look” where she made her mark as a fashion expert and on Extra where she produced and hosted a Shop-Off with Brooke Burke. Adrianna has also transitioned into the “print world” as a contributor of Life and Style Magazine. And in 2009, Adrianna started her own weekly column for 944 Magazine called “FASHION OR FICTION: A Lifestyle Guide to What’s Hot and What’s Not.”
By 24, Adrianna was already serving as the Entertainment Anchor for CNN Headline News. Based in Atlanta, she presented morning segments with enthusiasm and originality on one of the network's highest-rated programs, Robin and Company. She also produced and fronted The Big Screen Buzz; weekly sponsored segments focusing on exclusive behind-the-scenes movie and industry news. Adrianna was also appointed as a correspondent on CNN/HN’s hit evening entertainment show, Showbiz Tonight.
Adrianna exploded onto the entertainment scene in 2004, corresponding for Access Hollywood, while working weekends as a feature reporter for Fox-11 News: Good Day LA, and spending early morning hours during the week as an entertainment reporter for CBS in Palm Springs, California.
Over the years, Adrianna has also expanded her body of work by jumping on board at places like MSNBC to host their shows, Hot List and At The Movies. She also became a familiar face on the E! Network, reporting for E! News, and covering special events like US Weekly's Young Hot Hollywood Award Show. Adrianna also hosted her own one-hour E! Special called 20 Hippest Hot Spots, wherein she offered viewers an inside look at the hottest restaurants & clubs around the country. She’s also hosted programs for AT&T U-verse where she went behind-the- scenes profiling shows like Headcase on Starz.
Adrianna was just dubbed one of FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World”. She’s been featured in a number of publications including FHM, Life and Style, In Touch Weekly, Jezebel, Atlanta Peach, 944 and more. She’s also active in different charities like Teen with a Dream where she participates in Toy Drops to local Children’s Hospitals.
In addition to her hosting duties, Adrianna is a skilled writer and producer and loves the thrill of live television broadcasting. She’s maintained quite the presence online through her involvement with Perezhilton.com, Crazydaysandnights.net, her own website www.adriannacosta.com and her Twitter/Facebook pages.
In her spare time, Adrianna bounces around between different outdoor activities from hiking to bike riding to hanging at the beach. Growing up in a home with a Father as one of the leading Nutrition Experts in the world, Adrianna has become an advocate for healthy living through diet and exercise. She also has a passion for fashion. She studied fashion retail and design during her semester abroad in London and can’t help but love the hunt for a good deal. Adrianna graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May, 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Film Studies.
